Alchemical Chinese Medicine Equine Massage

I started off as an acupuncturist and herbalist, practising Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. While I loved to see how effectively TCM can help with physical imbalances like digestive issues or pain, I always missed something. Back then, I didn't really know what it was, but the more my understanding of Chinese Medicine and healing itself grew, the closer I came to the answer.

Finally, I learned that TCM actually isn't as traditional as you likely think. During the cultural revolution in China, one big part has been cut out as it didn't fit into a more western orientated society anymore: the spiritual, psycho-emotional, psychosomatic part rooted in Taoism.

For myself however, this is exactly the piece of my personal Chinese Medicine puzzle I had been missing.

The biggest part of this puzzle are the Wu Shen, the Five Spirits of Chinese Medicine, who can be seen as a psychosomatic map of your animal. Combined with massage techniques, working with them can enhance and deepen the effects of any therapy, your animal or pet currently receives. When I work on a client, it often feels like we are in a personal "healing bubble", a space which I like to call a "Alchemical Vessel". Within this Vessel, my knowledge and my abilities allow your animal (and often also you as the human part of the team) to open up and transform, what wants to be transformed. What might sound a little abstract now is simply a mix of traditional alchemical teachings with modern day practises: I use Acupressure, Tui Na Massage Techniques, Flower Essences, Essential Oils and Kinesiological Taping to tap into your animal's Meridian System.

In contrast to Traditional Chinese Medicine, I not only work with the physical and energetical level, but involve the spiritual level, so your animal is seen and treated as a whole. In my experience, especially "difficult" horses and dogs, who are struggling with their emotions or are at a point within their treatment, where they seem to be stuck, often show astonishing reactions to my approach.

While I know that the word Alchemy still has a strange reputation in our society, it just feels right for me, meanwhile. For me, Modern Day Alchemy is the melting pot of my knowledge and abilities to create a safe space for your animal or pet. So its body, mind and spirit can develop back into their natural, balanced state, transforming inner lead, e.g. an emotion like fear, into gold, in this example into trust. Inner Alchemy does not happen over night, but with you as her or his guide, your animal can transform into him- or herself again.

Psychosomatic balance for your horse

I combine different massage techniques like Acupressure and Tui Na Massage to activate your horse's Meridian System. Essential Oils, Flower Essences and Kinesiological Tape complete my personal toolkit, enabling me to treat him or her from a psychosomatic level. Further, my abilities as an Animal Communicator help me to create a trustful relationship with your animal. I will also leave you as the human part of your partnership some homework after each session, as I believe in self-enabling of people. Travel costs are included around Albert County, Moncton, Sussex, Peticodiac and Norton. Please reach out to me if you live in a different area.

  • A little interview with you to fully understand your current situation

  • assessment of your horse

  • Alchemical Chinese Equine Massage Treatment

  • Duration about 90 minutes

  • prices: 130 CAD

Alchemical Introductory Equine Massage

Most clients will need more than one massage treatment. Any follow up after the Introductory massage includes:

If it is your horses first treatment, please book the Alchemical Chinese Equine Massage above.

Please note that Canadian Legislation does not allow me to offer acupuncture treatments. If you are looking for such, please talk to your vet about it.
